T-Mobile Tuesdays Promo Thread -- EVERY Tuesday!!!

[Show spoiler]OK, it looks like no one wanted to start a T-Mobile Tuesdays (TMT) Promo thread, so I'll do it.

I was hesitant to start this thread because these deals are really time sensitive and I wasn't sure I would be able to keep the OP updated in a timely fashion every Tuesday if this promo keeps going on for a while, especially when things get busy at work.

Anyway, I'll do what I can.

General Info:

What?: T-Mobile Tuesdays - set of transient freebie promo deals for T-Mobile customers that come out every Tuesday.

Who?: For T-Mobile customers, to get the deals.

However, anyone, including non-T-Mobile customers can usually use the deals if they can acquire the relevant code for a deal from a T-Mobile customer. (These codes have been actively being traded/sold/given/etc..., so non-T-Mobile customers can also use the deals if you get the code).

When?: Every Tuesday.

These deals are very transient. Usually you have to "Redeem" the deal on Tuesday in the TMT app, and then can have anywhere up to 6 days (the following Monday, before the next Tuesday deals come out) to redeem/use the promo on the respective sponsor sites. Sometimes the timeframe to use the deals is much less, so you really have to be careful about expirations.

How?: T-Mobile customers have to download and install the T-Mobile Tuesdays (TMT) app and then log into the app every Tuesday to "Redeem" the promos. There are other web browser based methods to get the promos as well (see below), but they can only be accessed if you have a direct URL, which some people have been able to get.

Note, regardless of whether you access the deals via the TMT app or through a direct URL/link, you have to have an active T-Mobile line of service to redeem the deals because they send you a PIN via text that you have to enter a valid/active T-Mobile phone number and the PIN to access the deals.

T-Mobile customers can get 1 set of unique offers per active line of service. So, for example, if you have 4 lines on your account, you can get 4 of every deal every week.

Why?: Free stuff. What more is there to say?

*NOTE 1: They keep changing the expiration and usage terms for the free ride. Here’s the history that I’m aware of of how long the free ride was good for. Obviously, the one where they would reissue replacement codes good through the end of the year if you didn’t use the original one were the best, but those are probably long gone now.

9/20/16: Good for 1 day only.
9/13/16: Good for 1 day only.
8/23/16: Good for 1 day only.

BTW, since the VUDU credits in your account expire exactly 6 days from when you redeem the code in your VUDU account, you may want to claim the offer in T-Mobile in the morning (I've seen some offers run out, like the Lyft ones, later in the day), but then wait until towards the end of the day to redeem those codes in VUDU.

This way, you can push back the expiration TIME of the promo credits in your VUDU account, especially if you tend to procrastinate in using the promo credits to the last minute.

I did that and lost some credits in the past because I assumed that the promo credits just expired at the end of the stated expiration DATE (i.e. 11:59 PM). They don't (see my spoilered comments above in the OP).

I think that the idea with this thread was that we'd keep all talk related to T-Mobile Tuesdays, namely our weekly "What should I buy with my credit, ooo we get this special offer" stuff out of that thread.

Since they had a link again this week and I was able to stack and now have $11 in credit torn between taking advantage of the Zootopia offer or finding 11 more movies on Disc to Digital to convert.

Technically, you have to use them like today or something (so probably not useful to most).

However, the fine print says that if you don't end up using it in the specified time period, which is like 1 day, then they will issue you a new code that is good through the end of the year.

So, essentially, the effective expiration for the free ride is the end of the year. And from what I can tell, you can accumulate multiples of this free ride code in a single account. You can't stack multiple free ride promos on a single ride/transaction to make a more expensive (>$15) ride free, but you can accumulate free rides in your account to use on multiple rides.

So even if you don't have a need for it today, if you think you might possibly use it in the next 5-6 months, these codes could be handy.

I don't think Lyft even really operates where I live, but between now and the end of the year I'll probably be traveling to a few places/cities where they do, so I've just been starting to accumulate these in my account. I've never used (or even heard of) this service before, but I imagine it's sort of like Uber?

Just thought I'd throw that out there in case people were thinking that they would never use these codes.

(I mentioned some of this in the OP, but it's sort of buried in the spoilers, so a lot of people might have missed it).

Chiefy, I think the code Kellz posted was for a free ride on Lyft, not for Vudu credits. That's why the code came up as invalid if you tried to enter it on Vudu.
