Toei only has a raw SD scan of some 16mm prints.
- The AB Video Blu-Ray is a SDBD, with additional remastering done by AB Group for the audio and video. - The Yamato Video Blu-Ray is an upscale of Toei master with DNR and some color correction. Both releases have ups and downs. Some says the processing on Yamato release is excessive. I don't like the slight yellow tint of the AB release either. If you are in the US, the AB release may not play on your TV, as it is 720x576. |
