What are some DVDs that you think will never get a Blu-ray release, be it that they're not popular enough, unknown, studio lost rights, etc? Specifically ones you would like to see on Blu-ray.

I'm beginning to think After Hours will never see a Blu-ray release; I hope I'm wrong because I'm dying for it.

These won't, and it's a damn good thing as they are among the worst movies I've ever seen. This one was so bad I threw it out, the only store-bought dvd to have that (dis)honor from me.

Thankfully I was able to return this pile of shit since it didn't have any of the avertised extra features!

...and this one I took a hit but was able to sell off. 20 seconds of Sam Jackson outtakes from another movie (probably) is all I recall. Just horrid.

I don't think that there is any movie that you can say for sure won't get a blu ray release.

Shout Factory, Kino and Olive have released some stuff so obscure that wasn't even released on DVD. Ranging from the "so bad it's good" movies that became cult hits to completely forgotten mainstream movies from the 80s and 90s.

The Morgan Creek catalog (which owns Stay Tuned) being shopped around for a new owner. So that may have a chance, as for the Disney titles, I doubt they will released on blu.

I did the currency conversion, $17 or so pre-shipping. Then I couldn't sign into amazon.jp so I couldn't find out how much shipping was.

A US seller on amazonUS has it for $28 pre-shipping.

I know people keep saying that The Abyss and True Lies will 'eventually' come to blu... but after so long I now seriously have my doubts it will ever make it... and I don't understand why. Anyway here's my list of films (off the top of my head) I sadly don't think will get a blu release for what ever reason...
