Nice to know it’s coming but I have zero interest if it doesn’t also include the original cut. Really don’t see myself ever watching the new cut.

Such a tease! I was hoping when this was officially announced, they'd reveal everything in one go. I did listen to an Umbrella interview recently in which they said this would include three cuts of the film, though I think the archival versions will be BD-only.

Really like that art, too. Wonder if this will include the score on vinyl? Would explain the dimensions.

It really is a big-time bummer that the other cuts weren't restored in 4K considering all the known film materials were scanned in 4K for the creation of this new cut.

Not a single frame of the theatrical version is in The Ultimate Cut. They'd have to perform a new scan entirely, and given the time and money that went into creating The Ultimate Cut, I could see Penthouse not wanting to bother.

The 96 hours of negatives didn't include the footage that made up the unrated theatrical version.

McDowell and others have firmly endorsed this new cut as the movie they originally shot, after having disowned the other versions for decades.

If you're a fan of this movie, I can't understand why you wouldn't be excited by this new cut.

The Guccione footage is a crucial part of what makes this movie special, IMO. No interest in watching a version without the smut.
