New game incoming from the Wukong developers but focused on another Chinese folklore for their next outing. Kind of how Ghost of Tsushima is followed by Ghost of Yotei with a new setting.

I know it's only a CGI style trailer but the level of detail on the clothing, tiger and everywhere was amazing to see. If they can somehow elevate their graphics again, especially with next gen consoles on the horizon, I can imagine it will be a damn good looking game.

Heck, I don't think it's too early to even rule out another release for the last game on next gen consoles. Hopefully a free upgrade for existing owners.

Standalone, you don't need to play Wukong to understand the story.

From the way they described it, they are doing a different but related Chinese Folklore series it seems. So Wukong could exist in the world they made for the first game but this focuses on an entirely new central character and will have new powers and enemies.

Seems to be like Black Myth is like the AC part and Wukong and Zong Khai are like AC Origins or AC Odyssey for example.
