Description
Hollywood favorite Tom Conway – famed for playing Sherlock Holmes, The Falcon, Bulldog Drummond and Simon Templar – stars in this sharp-edged crime thriller from director Terence Fisher. Co-starring Naomi Chance as a model hiding dangerous secrets and Richard Wattis as a grumbling police inspector, Blood Orange has been painstakingly restored by Hammer in 4K from the original film negatives.

Ex-FBI agent turned private eye Conway is called in to investigate a jewel robbery at an exclusive London fashion house. But when murder enters the frame, the catwalk becomes a crime scene – and the killer is still at large.

Pre-order opens 27th June. Available 11th August.

Hmmmm, looks interesting, but not sure I want to spend £35-40 on it, presuming that's what it costs.

Hammer need to drop a big hitter soon, or I'm going to lose interest in this range.

Well, their last two releases were Quatermass, and those I think qualify as heavy hitters! Let's see what comes after this one!

Heavy hitters to the wallet, yes!

All of this just cements that my decision to ditch collecting the LEs was absolutely the right decision for me to have made.

I hadn't heard of this one before, but I will still buy it. I think it will be priced at £29.99--34.99. I will support these restorations, and help keep 4k alive. I'm wondering if they might restore the 1979 version of 'The Lady Vanishes'.

Never heard of this movie until the last few days. The only stuff I’ve seen Tom Conway in is the Falcon movies.
Got time to decide on getting this so I look forward to reading opinions on the movie.

I had hoped to see them release a box set with this, 36 Hours and The Man in Black, which went through the BBFC at the same time. But Hammer seems determined to release these limited editions of every title in the catalogue.

I really wonder how many they make of these and how well it will sell? They are hopefully pressing fewer copies than of their bigger titles like Quatermass.

Still, I'll probably end up picking it up along the way. I am a bit intrigued by it, and the extras sounds interesting. I also want to support their endeavour of restoring everything they have the rights to.

I guess we will get 36 Hours and The Man in Black later this year, which leaves, I believe on more of the smaller releases to be revealed and one of the big ones, if we go by that picture they posted a few months back.

There is a real smugness to Tom Conway that is a big turn-off for me. And no glint in his eyes like his brother to balance it out.

He killed "I Walked with a Zombie" for me as well.
