Blu-Ray Problem - Help!!!!!!!!!!1

I just pluggd in my PS3 through HDMI to my Zenith 42" Plasma TV and it is saying invalid format. Any suggestions?

sounds like youre trying to input an unvalid resolution...try outputting at 720/1080i (if you havent already)

well heres the thing im at a buddys house and my ps3 was hooked up to my 1080p tv i brought it over and plugged it in his and its saying invalid format so should i go back home and switch to 720p cause i cant see the screen to change it here

while the PS3 is in standy (red light), press and hold the power button until you hear it beep at least twice...should reset and be ok.

Turn off the PS3. You can use the master switch at the back. Then switch it back on. The PS3 should still be OFF.

PRESS and HOLD the power button at the front of PS3 for 5 SECONDS. You should hear a BEEP. Then the PS3 will start and you'll get a basic 480p picture. It then will ask you if you want to optimize your picture settings.
