Chistian Bale and Javier Bardem are going to star in Killing Pablo based on New York Bestseller by Mark Bowden's (Black Hawk Down) book. The writer director of the project is Joe Carnahan ( Narc, and Smokin' Aces)

I hate to leave you with just a teaser but I do not know a whole lot more at this point in time.

A bigger news is that Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, and the beautiful French actress Marion Gotillard (the new Oscar winner) are in a movie directed by Michael Mann. The name of the movie is Public Enemies. It will be released in 2009.

Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in the same movie? Directed by Michael Mann? All it needs is Al Pacino and it'd for sure be the greatest movie ever!

Ohhh! Channing Tatum, well that lowers my expectations a little.

Unfortunately, Michael Mann will probably shoot the movie with video cameras (like he had done on his last two features) and have the end result looking kind of crappy.

At least Heat looked really good (shot on 35mm film with anamorphic lenses).
