Default D-BOX Motion with Blu-rays

Hi I see D-BOX will be supported by some Blu Rays has anyone experienced a D-BOX product? I'm really intrigued part of me thinks its just a gimmick but part of me thinks it could if done properly actually add something to a action film (not so much a sloppy romantic).

I have scanned their website http://www.d-box.com/product_movies.html
and found that the D-BOX will download support for films so you don't have to go out and buy new versions of your old favourites. Apparently there are over 700 DVD's and Blu Ray's supported by the D-BOX. Unfortunately I cant find a price for the equipment which leads me think its expensive!

Yes it's very expensive, even if you just buy the actuatro frame that fits yoru chair

Doubt you'll be seeing it whenever Fox fufills the contract

Here's an article with some pricing information. D-Box has just released what might be considered an "entry-level" chair for $3,500. It has fewer degrees of motion than the top-of-the-line $20,000 model.

Time to sell the car and start taking the bus.

Well it's not only FOX anymore: Disney, Lionsgate and Now SONY is having the support for the D-BOX (see the news today about Sony). I really hope this will drive the price of the system down so more people can afford it, because I have to tell you it really adds to the experience.

I first noticed this technology just today, as I was scanning http://www.videobusiness.com/info/CA6392234.html and saw that both I, Robot and Independence Day have support for it. Besides pricing, it appears pretty vague how it is hooked into the system. Their website only says it connects to the Blu player, but not how. What port does it use off of a player?

You load the script file into the chair, and then it reads timecode from the movie audio via the analog outs
