I am not a fan of gore in movies but I hear No Country for Old Men is a great film. Is there much gore in the film?

I wouldn't use the term Gore but its pretty violent.

theres some violent killing but i wouldnt classify the movie as a gory film....excellent movie though

Gore would describe horror flicks. No country for old men is a excellent film. but it is a very violent film. Not for people who do not like watching others get killed violently.

yeh agree with previous people, good amount of violence, not much gore, they dont show to much blood

compared to what? compared to "Apocalypto" NCFOM might look like an innocent PG movie.

It's all subjective, for some people it might be too violent for other people not.

IMO it's violent, definitively not for kids under 15 (although, it depends on the maturity level of each kid) but it's a great movie that deserves to be seen by any serious cinema-buff

Just my 2 cents.

Not very violent. But then again, I didn't think the Departed was that violent. My brother thinks I'm crazy for thinking otherwise. There are a few scenes with quite a bit of blood. Just blood, though. No insides. This is not an action movie. Drama, through and through. I recommend you crank the sound up, however. You'll get scared sh!tless!
