Thematically, I would lean towards Knight of Cups. Malick’s richest and most important film in my opinion.

I haven’t, only 35mm. But the content of King of Cups spoke to me, not necessary what it was shot on or how I saw it.

It's one of my all time-favorites. I'm actually planning to soon do a double feature of it with Vincent Gallo's The Brown Bunny. These two movies are the greatest portrayals of depression and loneliness that I've ever seen before.

Sorry, distracted mind, but I wish more theaters would do showings of movies on 70mm as a lead up to a Nolan film or just in general. As practice also so I can see more stuff on 70mm!

Definitely, and I think that’s why it speaks to me I get the depression! I haven’t watched The Brown Bunny yet but it’s because I’m not the biggest Gallo fan.
