Default Problems logging on to Playstation Network?

Is anybody else unable to log into the playstation network? I was on earlier today and now for the past 2-3 hours it just times me out and never logs on.

Definitely something up. I have one PS3 folding 24/7 and it lost it's connection (the system was also locked-up in folding@home -- first time that's happened). Just logged in and tried to run folding@home again and it wouldn't start (just see the welcome screen for it). While testing a couple of games I bought today, I also got logged out of the network also (that was earlier this evening).

But, I'm now signed-in on both PS3s so that issue, at least, doesn't seem to be affecting me now.

I have been Folding at Home all day with no problems. I am logged in onto the PSN on one machine. I regularly check my stats and the units are uploading. Have you tried the usual, power down, unplug everything and try again.

Cool

I've been having trouble too. The test says yes for all including PSN. I've got a Belkin Router. Not sure if its that.

Hmm, I probably didn't give folding@home long enough to start a few minutes ago when I tried it. It just took a lot longer to lauch, for some reason. Anyway, tried the PSN store, the web browser and the folding@home client on both PS3s and things are working fine for me now (except for folding@home taking longer to launch).

The network and PSN on my PS3 is very fickle about whether it wants to connect or not. 99% of the time I just reboot my wireless router, reboot the PS3, and/or fly through the network configuration again. Never fails to get things going again.

BTW, you can go to http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Network (or the PSN site in your home country) and easily see if PSN is up or down.

My internet connection was flaky all day yesterday, so when I got disconnected I Just reset my router. I didn't think anything of it, but maybe it was related.

Maybe they're getting ready for the 2.15 patch! :-D

Bilbravo or anybody else--I had been "borrowing" wireless internet from a neighbor (to play COD4 ) somewhere near me until last night when I finally sprung for a router. I hear people say they "reset" their router. What exactly does that mean? Ya just unplug it and plug it in again? Please explain if you can. This is the first router I've ever had so I'm not too knowledgable about them. Thanks for any help.
