HDMI probs - Blu-ray Forum

Got a Sony FZ21S connected to my Denon surround processor using a HDMI. Well when I run a DVD or Bluray DVD on the lap-top it runs fine on the lap-top but as soon as I connect the HDMI cable the lap-top program crashes. My question is...

Is the problem with the connector or the programm?

Do I have to select some sort of diffrent monitor, if so how?

My guess would be there's an issue with the HDCP (High Definition Copyright Protection) . . . if that's the case, I think you're SOL.
