Wasn't sure where this topic might fit in so thought it might be worth a post on general. As the title says, is Amazon still worth it?
I've been an Amazon Prime member for going on 10 years now but my question is not just for Prime members but Amazon purchases in general. From my own experiences I've been getting more and more damaged items for a variety of reasons. I find it is either a result of poor packaging or items that are clearly damaged before shipping, sometimes it's a combination of both. From broken or crushed Blu-ray cases to damaged books it has become more of a problem over time. Even inserts for movies ripped apart. I've reached a point where I am willing to pay a little extra to get books, manga and movies from Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Deep Discount, Right Stuf, and even Walmart because the volume of damaged items I'm getting from Amazon is a joke. |
