Just can't do this anymore

I have decided to stop posting here before my aggravation with certain members gets the best of me. I signed on for this forum to learn about Blu-Ray and high definition movies, not to engage in pointless bickering.

However, be aware that with Blu-Ray's winning the format war, there are going to be a lot more people like me, coming onto the forum for the same reason I did. They don't care about the format war, they just want to watch beautiful movies on their big new TV set.

Now, the sore winner and gloating type posts are one thing. They are annoying but can somewhat be avoided.....kind of.

But there are some people here who are doing nothing more than looking for an argument. They see "trolls" around every corner. Please be aware that not everyone who comes on here and mentions HD-DVD in anything other than a derogatory manner is a troll. You're going to have a lot of HD-DVD converts or people that bought both formats, and this type of stuff is going to turn them off just as it has with me.

I hope that the forum can improve to the point where the focus becomes the watching and enjoying of movies rather than gloating and hunting down of potential "trolls". If it does I will come back and participate gladly.

I wish you all well but this has gotten out of control, and it seems that my presence here antagonizes certain members to the point where it has no longer become fun for me anymore. So I will attempt to bow out with some manner of dignity. I figure that's better than continuing to litter the forums with arguments and eventually getting banned.

Why would you care what someone say's to you on a internet forum. They don't know you and vice-versa. If a few words make you leave, then I question your well being in life. I could personally care less what somewhat responded with and you should do the same. Some people here would give there lung for blu-ray, while other's are just people who love to talk hd movie's in general. So if you are leaving, then leave but the reason you are leaving is kinda lame and childish.

Not knowing who you are, I thought I'd glance through some of your posts. Do you really think that calling most of the people here "pricks" is okay? I can understand debating features and sales numbers, but insulting everyone here? Perhaps you should return to HDD where you probably came from.

You are a bitter HD-DVD owner. Any negative HD-DVD posts, and you are quick to defend that inferior, dead format. If you did your homework, you wouldn't have thrown all that money out the window.

I hear you all the way even with Hd Dvd dead all people can talk about in here is how much everybody hates Hd Dvd. With the format war over you guys need something new to talk about.
