Frankly, I just think Ratatouille completely set the standard for Blu-Ray. And Disney did the best job on Blu-Ray releases.

If you're actually going to try something like this you have to make some rules...

What are the release dates that the movies need to fall under? 1/1/07 - 12/31/07? from '06-12/31/07? '06-Today?

I'd suggest keeping it at '06-12/31/07... and make this year a special case. Otherwise it's kind of random and pointless if you allow releases part way into '08.

Are you going to actually count votes also?

I don't have a huge number of BD movies in my collection (only had my HDTV and PS3 a little over a month now). But from what all I've seen so far here's my opinion:

2007 Best BD Audio Quality:
3:10 to Yuma

2007 Best BD Supplements:
Bladerunner 5 Disc Complete Collector's Edition

2007 Best Catalog BD Movie:
Bladerunner 5 Disc Complete Collector's Edition

2007 Best Studio:
Tie. Lions Gate and Warner Bros.

I'd go with Lions Gate alone for it being a small studio yet being very aggressive in utilizing the Blu-ray Disc format very well. 3:10 to Yuma is a great disc with lots of extras in 1080p.

But I also have to give a nod to Warner Bros. for all their efforts in trying to find a solution to the HD-DVD versus Blu-ray format war and ultimately deciding the contest with their decision to go BD exclusive in January. And I can't commend the studio highly enough for all the stops they pulled out on the marvelous Bladerunner restoration and high definition release.

Some of my opinions on this could change with a couple discs soon to be released, such as No Country for Old Men.

I might also suggest that you distinguish between live-action and animated features in Best PQ and include a category for Best Music/Concert Blu-ray (my vote would be David Gilmour: Remember That Night).

It's hard to narrow some of these down, as there's a close margin. Overall though, Ratatouille has set the standard in my eyes. Out of all the Blu-ray discs out there, I was completely and utterly blown away by this Blu-ray release when I first viewed it.
