EA to buy take2=microsoft to buy EA?

what do guys think about this? he does make some sense, and wouldin't think anything less from microsoft. and if all this is true, then.........i dont what to say.

Everyone is on pins and needles to see what EA does to take 2... We all know full well nothing good will come of it and that Ea is probably the 2nd worst developer in the biz, but hey... money talks, right?

What I'm more interested in is Microsoft's next "BIG" move... Apparently you all haven't been paying attention to what I've been saying here so I'm going to map it out for you all.

I'll even put in step by step form so you xbox 360 DOCK WETTERS can understand it too.

Step 1 - EA makes Madden run better, look better, preform better and have more options on the xbox 360's version. Giving the PS3 the gimped ass version 3 years in a row... This years version is already slated to run at 30fps, again.
Why is this? EA's had those Ps3 dev kits for 3 years now. Sound strange to you?

Step 2 - PETER MOORE leaves Microsoft to head EA... only the biggest company in the biz.

Step 3 - Microsoft lets Bungie go from their in house contract, but remains dedicated to them... Free to make games for the Nintendo Ds and Nintendo wii... to make more money for Microsoft, of course... Will we ever see a PS3 Bungie game? Don't hold your fuggin' breath.

Step 4 - EA buys BIOWARe... Bioware sure had a big hit with Mass Effect, didn't they? You know that awesome Multi-platform expansive Action/RPG/Adventure/Space exploration game for the xbox 360 and the PS.... Oh, wait... IT wasn't on the PS3 was it? Bioware is a huge backer of Microsoft and games for windows live... Strange...

Step 5 - EA's sales Rep tells Gamestops head district manager in So-cal to reposition his stores merch. Laying out plans for EA and Xbox 360 merch to be pushed to the front of the store and PS3 merch to be pushed to the middle of the store. Even going so far as to ask to remove PS3 window pops. Did he do...? Kiss **** & go fist yourselves, MICROEA.

Step 6 - Microsoft has multiple boots set up at GDc with Ea. EA kiosk, EA monitors, EA sales reps working for Microsoft... Ea games running in full force... all taking up precious Microsoft floor space & not their own. Strange? I mean... this is a "DEVELOPERS" convention, folks.

Step 7 - EA announces a hostel take over of TAKE 2... A company that just so happens to have pulled Alan Wake for the xbox 360 to focus on the games for windows live version. A company who is home to sports games and many other franchises... A company that also owns R* games... The company that just so happens to make Gran Theft auto games.
Same company Microsoft paid 50 million dollars to to obtain exclusive down-loadable content into their version of GTA4. What better way to get all that money back in the end by ---

Step 8 -- Microsoft announces they're buying out EA's game division... With that buy out comes Bioware, Take 2 and Rockstar... Along with them, some of the most prolific, best selling game franchises of all time.

Wake up people... Microsoft has had this planned all along. They had to free up some money here and there with releasing Bungie and letting other exclusive devs go... but this is their next move.

Peter Moore didn't just leave Microsoft... the highest paid gig in the industry... He was planted at EA and no one is going to tell me differently.

I've watched both companies actions the last 8 months and talked to Ea reps several times... They're so pro Microsoft it's game over for Sony and Nintendo.

Sorry but this aint happening. Do you know how much money it would take to buy EA out. Just imagine this, EA offered 2 billion for take-two and EA is way bigger than take-two, that's why they could offer that amount of money. It would cost at least 10 to 20 billion to aquire EA but considering EA makes billion's every year without microsoft, it beg's the question, why give up a huge cash cow. Also, have you seen how much money Microsoft has lost on the Xbox brand, it's in the billion's, shareholder's dont personally take to kind to those kind's of losses and therefore would stomp out any type of offer that Microsoft would even think about.

something people need to realize is that exclusive contracts that EA has with things like Madden require it be a multi-plat release.

So if they do buy it up, they gotta either also pay to get out of the contract or still have certain titles be multi-plat.

Then, now that they don't have a exclusive contract they have competition again and other studios can get into the NFL market and belittle Maddens market share.

On top of that they now gotta create quality games because they won't have contracts that allow monopolys on certain things, which costs more money.

It would cost them a lot and they would be getting less than what they would think they were getting. Its not going to happen.

And its a gigantic investment for MS. They are currently in 3rd place once again in 2008 and they need to focus on making XBOX profitable and successful before investing that type of money into things.

EA + MS = A perfect match in mediocrity heaven.

I have yet to buy an EA game this gen, so I frankly could care less, but I just don't think it will happen.

MS is better off keeping EA multiplat and making the 360 version better than having EA exclusive and having competitors come into the match and make their acquisition look like a 3rd rate take-over, becuase EA and MS are nothing but mediocre crap.

didn't EA confirm that all future EA sports games would support 60fps on PS3. NHL was the first I believe.

If you were referring to my post when I said make the 360 version better, I was saying if MS and EA were in bed togther ( i don't think they are) it would be better off for EA to do that and not go exclusive, because going exclusive with MS opens up competition, which is something that really hurts EA. Framerate doesn't mean everything either, the AA could be better, etc.
