HDMI cables

Is there any difference in them? I was looking at them on Amazon... there's Monster cables that cost over $100... and there's a Monster PS3 that costs like $50. But... there's just plain ol' HDMI cables that costs about $20 or less that say they support up to 1080p.

I'm just trying to figure out what I will need. I'm about "this close" (imagine my thumb, and first finger pressed together) to sealing the deal on getting a PS3.

I need an HDMI cable and the remote.

To clarify... I don't know the technical differences in things like HDMI 1.3, and whatever else there is. My TV supports 1080p, and I'm going to have to run an optical cable to my receiver - as it does not support HDMI.

Blu Ray player number 2, for me.
