Default MUST SEE: Tohsiba Youtube video spoof

This is making fun of Tohsiba's new Super UpConversion technology. Its really hilarious. Super UpCoversion is basically just better upconversion for your DVDs. It looks at 9 frames of 480p data instead of 1 frame to make 1 "ultimate" 960p picture. Its total BS.

Internet functionality is no longer a big issue for Jodi Sally & friends. The importance of that ethernet port sure went down with HD DVDs demise. It seems like they knew that ethernet port wasn't that important, but since it was the only thing all their players had that all blu-ray players didn't have, they blew its importance out of the water and now they just look like hypocrits.

Also Dolby TrueHD and other loseless and umcopressed audio codecs aren't important anymore either. SUC seems right up Paramount's alley with on DD+ support.

HDi, ahhh! who needs that, thats MS sh1t and they bailed from us when the stakes got too high with Warner, screw their technology we won't be supporting it.

As for our HD DVD supporters, well it looks like Toshiba is telling them to just SUC it up.

As for me, I got a blu-ray player with wonderful upconversion technology for my DVDs that aren't on blu-ray yet.

lol.

However, just to be fair about grammer, its S.U.C.K. not suck, your trying to make Toshiba's innovative technologies sound like they are bad. Shame on you!

It wasn't meant to be a possessive pronoun, but rather the plural of Kit. So, since Kit was abbreviated with a K in the end, the plural of that abbreviation would be written correctly as K's. Thus the name, S.U.C.K's.

I thought the video was pretty funny. What was the car name in Robocop?

It reminded me of that. Whoever thought of Super Up Conversions must be Japanese. They never see the ironic English meaning.

I suggest a new Toshiba marketing acronym naming contest.

How about:

Binary Laser Optical Widescreen System (BLOWS)
Super High Intensity Toshiba Technology (SHITT)

Any others?
