Anyone know which ones theyll be releasing in the summer then? they wont reannounce the ones that they released before they went to hd-dvd will they? hope not

dont jump the gun to quickly with Paramount.....wait till their first announcement hopefullu on the 4th....there might be a few surprises

I hear at least 12 titles with Transformers, Blades of Glory, etc. and day and date releases.

i've heard that paramount is official announcing there will be blood and sweeney todd on the 4th as well as transformers

Are you saying they will announce they are all coming same day? i dont think that will happen. However, I will buy all those except for maybe blades of glory.

I will pick up Shooter..since I was dumb enough not to when I was staring it down in Wal-Mart before Paramount switched sides..and of course Sweeney Todd, There Will Be Blood, Transformers, Top Gun..first ones on my list.

I don't think it will take them till June to release on BD again. I would say April maybe May.

Top Gun is a classic movie that I have loved since I was a kid. If Transformers included the original cartoon they i would buy it

1) Beowulf - Terrific PQ/SQ on HD DVD but waiting for price to drop or a Blu release.
2) Into the Wild - Terrific PQ/SQ on HD DVD but waiting for price to drop or a Blu release.
3) Transformers - If it retains all the special features including the interactive ones and features lossless audio.
4) The Island - If it includes special features and lossless audio

Re-encoding the below titles to match or exceed HD DVD

1) Shooter
2) Face/Off
3) Sahara

Shooter will be the same as the HD DVD as they had released a small amount of the movie in BD format before they went HD DVD exclusive.

As for the other paramount films, if they feature uncompressed loseless audio tracks, i would consider getting them.
