Default Star Trek TOS - remastered only or seamlessly branched??

This poll relates purely to Star Trek TOS - Remastered.

Not Movies, TNG, DS9, Voyager or Enterprise.

When ST TOS - remastered is released on Blu-ray, do you think it would be worthwhile to pay a little more for a seamlessly branched version incorporating both the remastered version (with the new CGI) and the original effects version.

I would like to be able to choose which version of the episode to watch, standard or remastered. I would be willing to pay a little more for a seamless branching version.

Same here. And I don't agree with the "EdenFX would clash with the look of the show" Not one bit. I think their level of FX would fit in just nicely: See the link

Those are far too shiny and detailed. Again, they clash with the show. There's more detail on that thing than on the actual shooting model

While that was good for use in Enterprise. It's wrong for TOS.

It would also be impossible to render on that level on the budget they would have. That's easily feature film quality.

IAMD featured the same low-detailed sets as TOS along with the new CG and they looked fabulous.

I just hope that when they are released Paramount release them region free like all their titles used to be. We have not seen this series in the UK (remastered), so I hope they aren't tempted to region lock it thinking about television rights in the UK / Europe.

So far 15:0 for a seamlessly branched version.

This is what I have been asking for all along. Definitely, seamless branching so we can choose whether to watch the original, unadulterated version, or the "enhanced" version. With all of the extra space allowed for on a BD disc, this should pose no problem.
