Actually one thats not on the list.. the biggest benefit Blu-ray could have right now to ME as well as the industry long term is a lowering of title prices to bring them fully in line with stadard DVD. Convincing Joe public that he should move to a new format would be a hell of a lot easier if everytime he went into a store the prices for the same films in both formats were the same price. Hell, you want joe public to move to Blu-ray, set the RRP/SRP to £/$ less! They'd make that back then some by the extra copies that would get sold longer term without everyone being able to rip movies all the time. Know thats probably not practical right now but thats got to be a long term goal. If not then Blu-ray is just a cash cow to the studios and we mean nothing to them whatsoever.

I would just like more tv shows on blu ray. I tend to purchase roughly 3:1 (not by value but by sheer numbers) tv:movies and really despise that most of the past years' seasons were not released on both blu and dvd. Seriously, why is Boston Legal S3 not on blu (or hd). WTF!

I have money, please take it!

Since Batman Begins, Matrix, V were not one of the choices, I picked "First Blu Ray title announced by Universal." < and it is Blu-ray.

But I would really like these three titles announced with lossless audio and high bit rate video. It's not too much to ask especially because these titles were already promised.

Another option would be "More Blu-ray replication factories come online to support the sudden demand in Blu-ray releases."

I voted LotR because the Paramount/Dreamworks options were too vague. But I really want Transformers on Blu... so bad, I dream about it.

Still, I'd buy the LotR saga on Blu-ray even if it only came in the collector's edition and cost $300. Same goes for Indiana Jones. But I'd only spend $120 on each Star Wars trilogy.

ARE YOU LISTENING, HOLLYWOOD?!?!?!

That is a tough poll.
LotR, PS3 DTS-HD MA, Paramount, Universal, Star Wars, Indiana Jones. In that order

DTS MA for me

not because I think that it is the most important but being practical

don’t care about
BD-Live on the PS3 announced by Sony
Sub-$300 BD Live Player announced by a major CE vendor
Sub-$300 Bonus View Player announced by a major CE vendor

Will happen soon enough anyways
First Blu Ray title announced by Universal
New Blu Ray title announcememt by Paramount
Indiana Jones on Blu Ray announcement

Don’t think they will happen in the short term
LOTR on Blu Ray announcment
Star Wars on Blu Ray announcement

So
DTS-HD MA on the PS3 announced by Sony
Wins because it is important, but only might happen, and it will also make many movies that I already own better

My choice was for DTS-HD MA for the PS3.

I know pretty much everything else on the list will definitely happen sooner or later.

But lossless on Fox titles when using my PS3 is something I would really like now, and as far as I know we have no committment from Sony on this.

I couldn't have written it better myself. I think the exact same way.

Now for movies, give me Lawrence of Arabia.

But even then I'd still like DTS-HD MA first.
