Thumbs up Wow!! 3:10 to Yuma shipping today from Netflix!!

This movie has been in my queue since its release date. It was even listed as "Short Wait" when I rearranged my queue this AM. I just checked my queue and Yuma is shipping today. This is a first for me to receive a, somewhat, new release, so maybe Netflix is improving their service.

They're finally shipping 3:10 To Yuma to you after it's been out for two months already? That's pretty slow.

Two days ago, Independence Day just got shipped to me but hasn't arrived yet. I pre-ordered it last November before it got pushed back. I decided to keep my order on hold because I got a good deal on it. I should be receiving it before the release date.

I'm so sick of Netflix. Their service has gotten worse and worse for me it seems. I have about 20 movies in my queue and all but 2 of them are listed as a "very long wait" or a "short wait."

There are some discs, like Flight of the Concords, that have been at the top of my que since a few weeks before the release date and it's still listed as a very long wait.

It seems that if I actually want new-er releases from Netflix, I'm in for an 8 to 12 month wait. It sucks!

What's the point of this if you can't actually get the movies you want?

I bite the bullet when I see a long wait. I usually can snag it from Blockbuster or Hollywood Video in a decent timeframe. BTW, I dropped netflix.

I've been very lucky with Blockbuster. I don't know if they do it by prioirty of when you select it or not. But more often than not once i see on this sight that something is set for BLU release I go to my blockbuster account and add them to my queue. I make sure that I have my movies returned monday evening so that tuesday when the releases come out they get shipped to me. For the last 3 months the only one I did not get shipped that day was Jesses James.

To all the people complaining, rather than looking at how long it takes to get a specific movie, how many days are you finding that you have "slots" vacant for?

E.g. I subscribe to the equivalent UK service, lovefilm, and have a "3 at once" unlimited rentals package, so I have 3 "slots". When I send a disc back I have an empty slot, and to me, the only thing you can reasonably ask is that they fill this slot within a few days with a movie from your list. Okay, you can set a preference for particular movies, but the whole model is based around having a reasonable number of movies in your list, and the idea that you're happy to watch any movie from your list, if you want to get a specific movie you really need to go to a physical blockbuster or somewhere like that.

I've now reached the stage where I've watched all the existing Blu-rays I want to, so I only ever have new releases in my list, and I'm still only typically waiting a few days at most for them to fill each empty slot, though I could still identify specific movies where I'm not getting them till quite some time after the release date, but sometimes I get movies a few days after release, it's luck of the draw.

Now, if you have all your slots empty, and 20 movies in your list, and you have to wait weeks to get any of the 20 movies, then that would be really bad service, I would agree with that.

No complaint but it is a fact Netflix does not have enough copies of BDs at this point in time to satisfy demand in a reasonable timeframe, short and simple. I'm out of their service!!

In the last couple weeks NetFlix has been sending me all the BDs I have had had waiting for a long time. There haven't been any movies that say wait on them at all. I am on the 3 at a time plan and in the last 2 weeks I have recieved about 10 BDs. I haven't been able to watch them as fast as they have been sending them. I used to send them in Monday and recieve new movies Friday. Now I send them back Monday get the next one Wednesday send it back thursday and get the next on Saturday.

a few of the features that netflix has to offer are no due dates and no late fees: think about it...if people don't have a reason to return these movies, especially some of the more popular titles, then they won't return it...and netflix simply does not have enough of a supply to keep up with the demands...but didn't they just make an announcement that they will start stocking more blu-rays? It should get better soon...hopefully..

I think Netflix stated that they will stock more titles, but they did not say that they would increase their inventory.

Now I know not to bother with NetFlix. I really enjoyed this on BR. The PQ and sound are amazing.
