I dunno what to think of this KB - very very cool, or not quite what I'd want. of course what I KNOW i'd really really like is for sony or a 3rd party to release a basically full-size BT KB w/a built-in trackball and maybe controller buttons.........

I have been wanting to get something for my PS3 that would be good for using the internet browser. It is frustrating using the PS3 controller while surfing the web. Would this suit my needs perfectly?

"perfectly" is the key word - this is a small unit, there's full-size wireless
keyboards out there that lots of people like (that work w/the PS3). There's even some w/a trackball/pad all in one unit.

Question. If most bluetooth ear pieces work on the ps3, would that mean that most bluetooth keyboards made for pc will work for it also??

yep. Bluetooth keyboards by Logitech, M$ and any other all use the same protocol. I personally always find it funny seeing "PS3 keyboards" on sites like Gamestop and such and they are just wireless keyboards, not even Bluetooth. Pick up a Bluetooth keyboard you like for use with a PC, use it on the PS3 and have an extra Bluetooth dongle for your pc

Yup, that's the one. I think I might buy this one. Does it work with a PC too? A PC that doesn't support Bluetooth?

This keyboard is not bluetooth. It is USB. I have one and it works great for browsing the internet on a Playstation 3 60GB.

That's the one that I have. Feels kinda light and cheap, but it actually works pretty good. The PS3 recognizes it right away so setup takes about 30 seconds. The only complaint I have with it is that there are no r1, r2 etc keys. Means you have to keep another controller handy for the zoom function when surfing the web. Not really a huge issue though.

HA! yeah, I was also looking at PSP mods - that one I linked is pretty cool, adding a 30GB SSD HD by only sacrificing the UMD drive? count me in!
