Unfortynally it is not available on Blu-ray The movie is distributed by Weinstein, and they have yet to announce their High Def plans.

I would definitely like to have this movie on Blu-ray. I watched the DVD tonight and I was impressed (and depressed) by the movie. The audio on the DVD isn't very good, so I'd be interested in seeing what BD could do with it.

WOW, One of the worst movies ever and your looking for it on Blu-Ray...I think it should go straight to BETA or LASER DISC.

i would buy this on blu 2, i thought the movie was great and the ending was amazing, the cgi was its weakest point but what do you expect from a lower budget movie, just liked to watch what might happen when society's rules get thrown out the window and the way people react to extreme change.

Yeah liked it as well. The ending was great. Wish it was coming out on blu. But yeah its from the Weinsteins so probably not.

Like most greedy studios the Weinsteins are pigs. They don't care about the consumer. They follow Don Simpson's motto: "We have no obligation to make history. We have no obligation to make art. We have no obligation to make a statement. Our obligation is to make money."
They're waiting for people to buy the DVD release AND the Blu-ray release. They have a reputation of not giving the consumer what they want, they did with the Grindhouse releases as well.
