German distributor CinePlus has announced its first Blu-ray titles:

Hostage: April 22
Cop Land: May 27
Jeepers Creepers: May 27
John Carpenter's Vampires: May 27

I might be in the minority here, but I will definitely pick up Cop Land.
I thoroughly enjoyed it; I thought Stallone gave a great performance.

Yay that a distributor is announcing some more titles although I'm still waiting for actual German titles to be finally announced.

You are not alone

. Cop land is the only movie I would choose out of the selection given. I saw the rest, but Cop Land is more watchable IMO. Jeepers Creepers was just to "hokey" for me. I saw the other 2, but they just weren't up to par IMO.

I always liked "Jeepers Creepers", and it wasn't really a very good horror movie.

But there was just something about the very opening scene where Justin Long's character and whats-her-face (you can tell who went on to be in a bunch of movies I've watched

) are driving by the churchyard and get a glimpse of the Creeper dumping bodies -- something about it just freaked me out...can't say why. Just one of those things I guess.

The VCL-daughter Cine Plus published its first Blu-ray discs. The Bruce Willis thriller "Hostage" comes at 22.04. In the trade. Three more Blu-ray discs follow in May. Information on the equipment are still spartan. According to the information of Cine Plus is now self-evident for DVDs Originalton two Blu-ray disc is not available: "Copland" and "Jeepers Creepers" are just with German dubbing announced.
