Why does Madden online suck so bad? - Blu-ray Forum

Seriously it is like impossible to avoid disconnects and tons of losses. There have been a bunch of times where my internet connection has been perfectly fine but I get kicked off in the middle of a good game and I look and see that it has given me a loss. And something new just happened that I find just amazingly odd. I just beat a guy earlier 107-7 online earlier and I finished the game all the way through then shut off my PS3 as usual. I get back on later and see that my last game has the same score but it has given me a loss??? What the hell?

Does EA just plain suck at keeping their online play in order???

Seriously, I miss Howard. And the Wide World of Sports opening montage with the ski-jump wipeout, and the ABA's red white & blue basketballs, and Spinks-Ali, and...I feel old...

In the bars around here they used to set up an old TV set and run a lottery to see who got to throw a brick thru the screen when Cosell's picture was on it!

Because everytime you go to play a game ONLINE you get to winning and boom game freeze i know its not my PS3 every other game i've played online things go great i'll tell ya this much they either fix there S**T or i'm takin my money elsewhere, my online record is 6W-42L because of this crap.

I concur with the EA servers sucking statements.

Seriously, I think they are still using 1994 servers and making all the games share them.

Army of Two has massive disconnect and lag issues with EA servers as well.

EA just blows. They are just too cheap and eager to please shareholders to care anymore. Everything they are doing lately is garbage.

Hey there 5 windows 1.1 desktops run well as servers regardless what anyone
tells you and all 5 can I bet run all the games for everyone, and yall all know that.

kiding aside I dont really think top of the line servers are needed to keep a simple database I think somebody did nt give the programers proper test servers and now the database writes are not writing correctly that happens alot even in big games..

But usually that is fixed in the first couple of weeks.

What really bugs me is that when I wanna play NHL08 Im forced to download the "new" rosters, when really they havent updated them once the entire season.
