Even if Cruise sucks in Valkyrie, Bill Nighy, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Wilkinson and Terrence Stamp all kick ass. Plus it's the first movie Singer and McQuarrie have done together since Usual Suspects. It might not be the greatest movie ever, but how bad can it be?

Oh, see, I forgot about Black Book. I'm looking forward to seeing all those actors as well, but - the Stauffenberg plot is one of my favorite historical subjects, so I'll be scrutinizing that film FAR too much from a factual perspective...seeing Pearl Harbor made my inner historian commit a ritual hara-kiri.

One, nobody here took it as you being one or being into it, that would just be stupid. It would be better if you deleted that post before all hell breaks loose.

im not a nazi...it was a joke related to some going ons around here lately....i'll take the ban if i have to ive done it before..i just think the amount of control is a little ridiculous.

Hmm, not specifially WW2...Nazis are a very different subject all in itself. Most WW2 movies portray them exactly the same. I don't think theres a movie for them as what Letters from Iwo Jima did for the Japanese.

Maybe Das Boot...
