Default Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman

Where is Dr. Quinn on Blu-ray?? I have waited to own this set for years, and when it finally made its way to DVD, I, along with so many others, were disappointed in the quality. A&E did such a horrible job. The audio/video rarely synced together, episodes were out of order too. The sad thing about that, instead of recalling their defective sets, they continued to sell them, even re-releasing them in a megaset, and then a second boxset a year or two later. People are still buying them, and still complaining. How Amazon hasn't put a stop on orders like they do some, is beyond me.

Never seen a single episode, but I imagine Jane Seymour would look great in hd

It's really a great show. If either of you get INSP, you should check it out. I use to sit in front of the TV every Saturday night to watch this and Walker with my aunt and uncle.

This show just had its 30th Anniversary. Is there any chance Lionsgate / A&E will upgrade it to HD? I'd love a blu-ray release of course but I'd settle for streaming. Surely this would be a profitable title?
Being a 90s show shot on film I assume all the post production was done on tape? Do the original film materials even exist anymore?

Now a&e have lost the rights, now Paramount global management the show.

They have done a 1080p remastered with a 16:9 zoom, It appears they have reescaned the film as the TV show don't was filmed exactly in 4:3 sometimes you can view new data in the sides don't appears in the old a&e 4:3.

They also remplace the train scene of the intro, now the train is new generated by cgi.

In the other hand they have cut a scene in the Dr quinn sully wedding. When dancing after the wedding.
