OK i know this wrong thread but i needhelp bad!!

ok i flippin played the chicago white sox and we played in old uniform....ok well and good....but ever since then, ALL!!!!! teams are wearing the ridiculously ugly long socks and i cant figure out how to turn it off, HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Im gonna assume its the game MLB 08 The Show. In that case it is just a glitch and youre gonna have to deal with it. Unless somebody here actually knows how to fix this glitch?....And you just reminded me I really wanna get this game lol

Even though baseball season hasn't started yet.

He must have been at Spring Training.

ok sorry let me explain, i won MLB08 The Show, i was playing a game in season mode, and the team i was playing was weargin throw back uniforms, like from the 20's, and ever since that game my players, and all oposing players have been wearing long socks, and i was just hoping someone else may have run into this, and knew how to make it stop, cause its driving me nuts!!!!

Hey man! First of all, since you just started posting, you need to go through you initiation phase of taking abuse from the religious posters. Everyone thinks that when they get on here, they can bring something epic to the table like a "Star Wars coming to Blu-ray" thread, or "any news on Transfomers", or "What's your top 5...".

Having said that. Welcome!

Like previously stated, it is probably just a glitch. There were some other threads on here talking about a new ps3 firmware update ( 2.17 ). Another thread talked about the update locking up the ps3. I didn't read into the threads much so I won't go into detail. Some of the ps3 updates have been for problems like the one you are having. Try the new update. If it works good, if not. Be patient, make all your players slow, smaller, chubbier, and enjoy baseball from its high socks era.

2. Sony mentioned a patch for the game when i called them yesterday.
3. If i were posting these questions on a non-game related forum i ould understand the blasting.
4. For those that feel it nessasary to throw punches simply based on the fact im new, dont hit if you dont wanna get hit back, i insulted noone, i simply defended myself.

1. go to sytem on your main menu. then to system updates. check via internet. it should say update 2.17 available.
2. did they say the patch was out already?
3 and 4. since the end of the war. blu-ray.com has seen a lot of traffic. Everyone is troll sensative just because the DuDDers have always used irrational and illogical methods to defend their system. People are also real sensative to someone with a low post count because; Low Post Count = Repeating Threads. And you can take that to the bank. A person can't help but fall into that stereotype from the get-go. Just endure... Oh, and make sure you tell us the results of your issue. It might help someone else out...
