Logitech Harmony + PS3 = ?? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,

I recently purchased a Logitech Harmony 880 in order to control everything with one remote (TV , Home theater , PS3 etc.) but the problem is that PS3 uses bluetooth technology.

Now , i was wondering if anybody knows how to use harmony remote with the playstation.

PS : I did research on google , but seems complicated

Do a search in the forums here for that and you will find that the Harmony 880 + Nyko Blu Wave remote IR dongle is a viable option for the PS3.

they may seem a little pricey but it is low key and dosn't stick out on the front of your ps3 he also has a model that will allow you to turn your ps3 on and off via the remote

I remember when I bought the 500 dollar logitech harmony remote with touch screen.

I was so damn pissed off when it wouldnt work with my WII or my ps3. I returned it.

Wish I had known there were items you could buy to fix that.

Damnit.

Ya, harmony scam, well not really scam, But more than likely there will be one fuction that won't be programmable and you will end up using two remotes anyways. Has happed to most everyone i know who has purchased one.

i am going to get the 1000 soon i am going to love playing with that touchscreen and love one remote and nothing sticking out the front of the ps3
