Default Blu-ray Sudoku game

Enteractive is developing a Blu-ray Sudoku game that will be able to play on Blu-ray players using the remote. It also has a multi player option which is cool.

http://www.blurayfreak.com/2008/03/e...-bri.html#more

I've always wanted to learn how to play Sudoku. I will buy this if the price is right.

I suck at Sudoku, my wife is great at it. We hade GO! Sudoku from the PSN already.

Yea, but it won't be nearly as interactive as the actual game.

The PSN game has over 1,000 puzzles and is less than 100 megs
A 50GB double layer BD could hold a few 100,000

You could have scenes from the movie streaming behind the sudoku game.

With the size, wouldnt it be possible just to create a database of kazillions and have it randomly generate.

I love Sudoku, but this game won't get my cash (most likely).

You need to be able to keep notes for one. It's probably me, but I prefer to sit down with a good puzzle book and work at it.

I have many Sudoku puzzle books (from easy to freakish). If you haven't played it and like puzzle games, try it out. I did years ago and got hooked.

A simple way to select numbers and have them shown in the corner of the box is good. Without that, you really can't do medium+ puzzles. The easy ones you can, but it can take a little more time.

Can't saw that I'm interested in playing against others in the slightest.

The Nintendo DS with the touch screen is the perfect interface for Sudoku. I recommend Sudoku Gridmaster on the DS for anyone wanting to play Sudoku. I like it better than even doing it the normal pencil and paper method.

I almost bought a DS for Sudoku alone.

You are able to do this in Go! Sudoku. If you have a PS3 I'm not sure why you'd want the game on a disk when the one on PSN is perfectly fine. Am I missing something?

Go! Sudoku is in 1080p. The graphics are not that hard to render. I'm kinda good at the basic time-based game but racing against the clock is HARD!

Most of that is probably the music and engine for generating backgrounds

Basically a number-based logic game

Mild abstract thinking needed in easier levels.
Often abstract thinking in mid-difficulty levels.
Mid bending abstract or Four-moves-ahead (like chess) thinking in higher levels.

Lower levels fun, higher levels hurt your head.

Nine boards, nine squares on each board.
In each of the nine boards - arrange the numbers 1-9 so that each row (from left to right, or top to bottom) has each of the numbers 1-9 in it, and each board contains no repeats:

For example:

123|456|789
456|789|123
789|123|456
------------
234|567|891
567|891|234
891|234|567
------------
345|678|912
678|912|345
912|345|678

each board has 1-9, each row has 1-9, each column has 1-9

You start with a handful of numbers in place and using logic, deduce where each remaining number belongs...

There's about 14-16 free games available from the PS3 download area... books in stores everyfrikkin'where
