Default 16,975 Disney Movie Reward Points...How close do you come?

Just curious...how close to the total amount of points do you come?

I was bored so I tallied up all the points you could earn from eligible Disney titles and movies and came up with 16,975. The amount is based on the official list by Disney on their website. This includes a maximum of 200 per theatrical release. This does not include however any bonus/survey/referral points.

So to start things out, I have 4,590 points.

Is the 7,000 accumulated, or what you have left? Crap if you would have held out, you could have got the Samsung LCD TV.

Yeah, but it's for free though. Could easily find a place in one of my kid's bedrooms.

It's free as long as you are not buying the movies only on the basis of getting points. If you are planning to buy the movies anyway, then this is an added benefit which is free and doesn't cost you any more than if you had gotten the movie with no rewards code. Now I would agree that the majority of those collecting, or have enough points to get the Samsung TV, would probably have had to buy "a couple" of movies, or rewards codes on ebay, more than they would have otherwise, and hense the additional cost, hense not being free.

See I buy the movies for my daughter wife and I. I gotta admit, I enjoy myself some disney movies once and a while. With blu ray now, I buy for the quality of the movie, and I buy the DVD for my little girl to watch on car rides.

Same here, I have kids that cover the whole demographic spectrum of Disney movies (2, 5, 7, and 13 years old). I only really like the animated films by Disney for the most part, I don't typically care for their live action films (other than the POTC series). Blu-ray all the way for me and the kids though, unless it is not available in HD, and then I have no choice to buy it on DVD for the kids.

Never saw either of the National Treasure films or Narnia, waiting for them on Blu though (have them pre-ordered already). Now as for the Chronicles of Narnia, I did like the book, so I am hoping I like the movies.
