I thought it was in the last one too. I have seen it on HD DVD and all I can say is that I hope they put a PCM track on it. PQ is very good, a little soft in places, AQ is reasonable, but could be better hence the request for a PCM track, for some reason the TrueHD track could be better.
Btw the UK release is the same as the US release as it has the FBI warnings which I have never seen on R2 DVD releases (mainly because the FBI have no say in what I can and can't do). Last edited by Maximus; 12-28-2006 at 05:14 PM. |

The commercial has been out since November 17th and he just gets around to reporting it now?! No bias at HD-Digest. Nah!

Hi y'all, I'm new here and I'm a Canuck. Not only to mention that I'm deaf too as well, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the heck out of movies these days.
Anyway, I managed to make a purchase on a PS3 unit last week just before Christmas. Didn't have to stand in line or get a ticket for it or anything, all I did was walk in and came out with one. I've already bought around 14 movies on the Blu-Ray format so far. I'm quite a movie buff, no doubt about that. I go to some DVD sites to check out the latest news and information on the upcoming DVD titles. I've seen quite a lot of information and cover designs for the upcoming Blu-Ray titles. However, I haven't been able to find anything on a Blu-Ray release for the Harry Potter movies including 'Goblet of Fire'. I've seen these Blu-Ray advertisements on both TV and in print and all of them featured Harry Potter, yet there's no information. What's up with that? Has somebody gotten a hint at when a release date is set? If so, can you please let me know? Thanks. By the way, this is pretty much the best Blu-Ray forum I've been to so far. People here seems to be more better educated on the format in comparison to the other forums I've been to. I'm really pleased with what I'm getting from the PS3 and can see the difference between SD and BD. Just amazing. I hope to become a part of this forum. |

Banjo,
welcome and congrats on the purchase. AFAIK, none of the potter series has been announced. check the apocalist now thread just in case. if i had to make an educated guess, they're prob going to start putting out the potter movies on BR in the months preceding the movie in june (or july, i forget) to hopefully stir up even more anticipation. |

Thanks.

However, like somebody pointed out here... I find it quite strange that 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' is on the HD-DVD format and only in United Kingdom. |
