the blutooth remote is supposed to be available, but i havnt found any in the US yet

You can order it there. Its the Japanese version, but all of the buttons are labeled in English, and there is a post at AVS on how to pair it with the console.

According to this Kotaku story, you might be able to find one at your local EB/Gamestop. I'm going to try this afternoon.

ETA: According to my local EB/Gamestop they have "so many that [asking to hold one] doesn't make sense". Awesome!

Stop at a Gamestop yesterday and they had 2 on the shelf. They did not have a price on them I ask and with tax is was just over $26.00

I plan of picking up this remote once I find one but I really wish it was R/F so I could use it with my TV and receiver since they are both Sony.

picked up mine at eb games yesterday. $24.99 (the best $25 I have spent in a while) it is solid construction and just what you'd expect. I am very happy with it/my ps3 as a Blu-Ray play back device.
