January I beleive it was is when the changed the board out with a new one and released a newer firmware to prevent the HDMI problem. I checked the back of mine and the date was January and I have not had any HDMI problems

btw, if you are going to BB to get it....have them price match this

http://shop4.outpost.com/product/519...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

that is what I did

I have that model, purchased in late January. No problems at all with the PS3 and HDMI...

Great price, well worth it for $1099 (paid $1199 myself).

np at all, I did a ton of research on the board and firmware because my first set had a dead pixel, which wasn't too bad, but my second one wouldn't turn on everytime and so that is when I started to heavily research it and some site had a chart that listed out when different boards had come out. When you get a new one, check the back of the TV and make sure it was manufactured in Janurary or newer, if not I would keep an eye on it just to make sure the HDMI will work fine. Make sure to price match the new one, that is a really hard deal to beat anywhere unless you go refurbished...but I'd stay away from a refurbished tv if I were you...can run into tooo many problems with dead pixels.

thats fine if ur tv goes black when u put in a game or a movie, my problem was when i was playing a game or movie, for some reason the screen would just go black or the sound would cut out, i would then have to turn off my tv and turn it back on for it to be fixed.

yea if u put in a game or a movie and the screen goes black for like 2 seconds, thats fine, but if ur having blackouts during a movie or when ur in the middle of playing a game, then something could be wrong with ur board.
