Default HDMI switcher- NEW Marantz

Hey I saw a few of you looking for more input's for HDMI , Well check this baby out from Marantz, I guess this will solve any of you'r problems..

VS3002 HDMI v1.3a Compatible Switcher
$349.99
This groundbreaking product was designed to make everyone’s life a lot less complicated. As HDMI inputs become more common amongst source products, the need for a great performing and extremely reliable HDMI switcher is evident.
6 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs
Direct IR and RS-232C input
Discrete Code Set for virtually every command
Remote Controller Included
Exclusive Sync Mode via Marantz Remote Control Bus(RC-5) for use w/Marantz AV Receivers/DLP Projectors

HDMI v1.3a Compatible: VS3002's HDMI switching circuit fully transmits the signal of a present HDMI standard like the High Bit Rate audio signal as Dolby® TrueHD, Dolby® Digital Plus and dts-HD Master Audio and latest technology video signal as xvYCC / Deep Color. 6 Inputs / 2 Outputs: Two HDMI outputs are equipped for assuming to use with multiple display installation. (* Both outputs are not active simultaneously.)
High reliability TMDS pass-through switching: VS3002 adopted the pass-through type switching based on the data transfer method in accordance with TMDS that secures high reliability.

2.25GHz Video bandwidth for Deep Color: To transmit the Deep Color video signal in 36 bits (12 bit x3), the bandwidth of 2.25GHz was covered.

Built-in Emphasis function re-shape the dulled signal: The signal equalizer is installed to correct the signal that becomes duller by the characteristic of the source product and the cable length. The equalizer function re-shapes the signal and output a high-quality HDMI signal to AVR and the display product. (* The effect depends on the conditions with signal quality, cable characteristics, cable length, etc. * Choosing by the result of this function on and off is preferred.)

Automatic Input Switching mode: The input port is switched automatically by sensing the power of the connected source product is turning on. This function reduces the operation on the VS3002 and makes system control simpler.

Discrete input select command by remote and front panel: Ordinal product uses up and down commands for switching the input, but the VS3002 prepares the discrete input and output switching commands on the remote and front panel. These discrete commands make the input select operation quickly especially for the product which has many input and output ports. As you already know well, discrete commands are an important feature for CI remote programming.

RS-232C control: The VS3002 considers compatibility with higher range control system such as (Crestron, AMX, RC9001…) and adopts bi-directional RS-232C control function. The state in the control terminal can be confirmed by feedback from VS3002 to say nothing of the achievement of high operation reliability. Bi-directional RS-232C control makes the product status available and the system operation, flexible and reliable.

Auto IR command generate function for Marantz AVR and VP: The VS3002 equips an auto IR command generator. By using this function, the VS3002 can be used virtually as a part of AVR (or VP). VS3002 generates “HDMI-1” function select commands for our AVR when VS3002 gets its input switching command. This function reduces the input switching operation for AVR (or VP) from the system control.

Very nice! If I wasn't only running my PS3 and Macbook through HDMI I would pick this up!

Wow. Looks impressive.

I couldn't see any tos (optical audio) inputs. So I assume this cannot switch tos link. This is imporatnt if someone uses tos link for audio (if the AVR cannot handle HDMI audio).

Yes. But there are lots of people out there without HDMI audio. If they have added tos optical switching I expect the market would have been larger.
