Cannot play bluray on laptop does have 1080 screen down loaded everything sony tolds me to even firm wear updates they have no idea movie loads starts than stops screen display say your display envirement doesnot support protected content playback please help

BE SURE that the machine is set to "Performance" in VAIO Power Management while it is plugged in.
If it is set to Adaptive or Battery Life... it will likely fail(this AR190G does). ![]() Make sure the display setting(Fn+F7) is set to either LCD Only or TV Only... just incase. Also, the OEM provided WinDVD BD for VAIO - sucks! It plays *some* BDs, but just sits there and does nothing with newer titles. ![]() Get PowerDVD Ultra 7.3... seriously!
