Well, this is good news. Wasn't sure what was going to happen with MGM no longer having titles distributed by Fox. Guess it's Warner Bros now.

TV shows are always risky as many are going to DVD only or no release at all. They would only be 1 more release beyond this, so hopefully they finish the show.

Would love it if Warner were to get a Fargo Season 3 release out there since they are working with MGM nw.

That sounds right, WB also handled the Blu-ray for MGM's Gretel & Hansel (2020). However, if I heard correctly, Fargo is an actual FX production, so Fox/Disney will probably still handle home media for that series.

I can confirm that this is fully uncut. Episode 10 has full on nudity that wasn't shown on US television.

That's good to hear, if they're going to just use 1 version of the show, it should definitely be the uncensored episodes. I honestly don't even know why the Fox releases felt the need to include both versions.

Will definitively wait for the complete set (if they ever release one). I need to start the series from the very beginning, I missed so many episodes since season 3...

When was more a bad thing? Also please think outside the box. Maybe younger viewers are watching? Maybe collectors want the Original aired version.
I personally like the uncut versions. More is better.

The main reason I was collecting this series was the slipcases, which were really distinctive and different than the actual case art and often opened in creative ways.

I haven't even begun watching the series, but I always paid full price (or even more) to ensure I got these spectacular slipcovers. I stopped collecting for season 5 because they abandoned this special attention to package design halfway thru the series.

Obviously the thing of central importance is the show itself, but if people are willing to pay for that extra attention to detail and we all know how popular it is to release steelbooks and charge more for them, I don't know why they don't get that there is a segment of the marketplace that actually does care about and will pay more for the packaging when such superior packaging is offered.

Now with COVID I guess I'd rather be delivered something completely wrapped in plastic anyway, but whoever designed those first four seasons' slipcovers deserves some accolades and fan appreciation and whoever decided to cheapen the look of the last two seasons' releases by going without them really let us, and the series, down.

No. They always release in October. Another 6 months to go.

Hopefully we should be hearing about Vikings Season 6: Part 2 soon. It's already out in Canada, but I imagine it will hit here in October, or at least should

It hasn't even aired in the US yet, the Amazon thing was supposed to be an early access deal and would still air on TV but that hasn't happened yet.

I remember someone mentioned it had starting airing on the History channel a few months ago. According to the History channel's website it already aired

Oh, I watched it on Prime so I didn't follow any of the History stuff, but I also didn't see any promotion for it so I figured it hadn't started yet.

Now that Amazon actually owns it through MGM, hopefully WB still releases it.

Yeah, hope it happens. If it doesn't get a release by the end of December, I'll probably just get the Canadian release.

Hmm. Still nothing. We usually hear something by this point. It would suck if they don't release the final episodes in the US. The Canadian release is looking more and more like it will have to be what I resort to. I'll give it until October 31st.

Was able to get a response from MGM. Looks like Season 6 Part II will be getting a Blu-ray in March.
