Early list of games to support DUALSHOCK 3 rumble

This thread is for the upcoming DualShock3 Japan controller. Reviews, updated game with rumble reviews and ways to import the controllers can be posted here.

It is frustrating that Amazon.com doesn't let me buy a PS3 or a PS3 game to be shipped here. It's even more frustrating when ALL Amazon sites have that limitation, including Amazon.com.jp.

Got my Dual Shock 3 coming (white one first then probably pick up a US black one) supposed to ship 11/7. Got Pre-order notification set up on another site as well, just in case I want that black one early. I will post up as soon as I get it.

It shows out of stock and there is no price listed.

I've never heard of this site. Have you ordered from them before?

I tried yesasia.com and couldn't find it - black or white.

EDIT: Renchi.com is also out of stock.

YesAsia has a good reputation.

For folks like me in the States...could I get one of these and have it work just fine? I really wouldn't mind having it ASAP vs. waiting several more months. <- That is correct, isn't it? It's not coming out in the States for several more months?

This controller easily addressed the few minor quibbles I have with the current one, namely: I like the idea of a little more weight and solid feeling and, of course, I like to have rumble.

Not cheap, though.

yesasia.com says it lists for $95.49. I was going to wait for another site to post a price before ordering.

On Amazon.com.jp the price is ￥4,950. That's equivalent to US$43.14 inclusive of free shipping in Japan.

But like I said, they don't ship outside of Japan.

I am in the USA as well and I have never read that the Japanese Dual Shock 3 is not compatible it's only a controller nothing special or region coded about it. You will need software version 1.94 to actually use the rumble

My pre-order's release changed from shipping on 11/7 (shipment to stores so they would have it on 11/11) to 11/14 so hopefully I will have my Dual Shock by this Saturday. Of course I will post up when I get it with impressions and such.

I think I read somewhere that March was a place holder but nothing is confirmed by Sony.

I should get my white Dual Shock 3 in about a weeks time. Can’t wait to try it out on Fall of Man.

Just got an email notice that Play.asia has them in stock for 69.90.

$70 seems to be the average price for this controller.
