about my amazon pre-order - Blu-ray Forum

I've never pre-ordered anything off of amazon.com before so I have a question. 2 weeks ago I placed an order, I am Legend and The Last Sentinel. I went to check on my order today thinking it will be sent tomorrow and yes, it will be sent tomorrow BUT when I clicked on The Last Sentinel page it says that the movie is currently unavailable and they don't know if it will ever be in stock again. here's the page:

The Last Sentinel

Does this mean that they never received the movie or does it mean that I will be getting a copy and they have run out of pre-orders? Any thoughts would be cool.

Not sure why that movie is unavailable.

However if you wait 2 or 3 days and the Sentinel really is not available they will probably ship the movie that is available. In that case they will take the shipping charge and cut it in half.

That gives lower shipping that ordering just one movie. That's why I say you should wait a bit.

YA I'm gonna wait a bit but I really want to see that Sentinel movie...I love that Starbuck gal.

It could be the case that Amazon's listings aren't completely accurate and there never was a blu-ray release for this movie. I they have done it before. Look at the movie, it looks like a DVD and not a blu-ray disc. Is there a DVD version of this movie listed? It could entirely be a mistake. Hope you don't get a DVD if it does ship.

BUT. DVD Planet shows it as IN STOCK.

I had the same problem with the last sentinel. I pre ordered it a month ago, and it says unavailable and no idea when back in stock.

I canceled, screw that with amazon. theyve done it before and its pissing me off

Yeah if u get it let me know.. i pre ordered it when it first appeared.. it makes me think they didnt get any in or something.. I doubt this movie actually sold out...

Mine didn't ship either. But, Netflix shows it as a short wait, so it must be released.

Not sure, I think they get their information directly from Amazon. If you click on it it will connect you to Amazon.

well here's a change. they are shipping my I am Legend and they now say that my Last Sentinel will be shipped to me on April 28. Also, the Blu-ray availability has changed again to "usually ships within 3-6 weeks". there is still hope for those who pre-ordered this...wohooo!
