I think most of us are bored with online polls especially on biased sites.

Speaking of biased sites, it looks like our 'sister' site, forum.hd-dvd.com is pretty much dead.

I guess if there are no BD users to bash, the HD DVD fans actually have very little to say.

I poke around over there occassionally, but it's like nothing is going on...and the only one over there keeping hope alive is Hmurchison.

I think it would be great if more people would participate in some of these smaller sites like High Def Digest. That site, specifically, has some of the least biased forums that I have ever seen, but it is clear that there are simply more HD DVD supporters that take part in that site.

Instead, if more Blu-ray supporters were on that site, then things would be presented quite differently. Especially when you look in the specific HD DVD and Blu-ray sections you find that there is almost no bickering at all going on. While their 'Smackdown' forum gets a lot of use and the Blu-ray supporters, as limited as they are, must defend such stupid topics as "HD DVD has more storage space"!!! Why is it Doby and Marzetta are about the only people on there.

Even Murch shows up over there to take part in the mud-slinging.

That isn't true. They are heavily biased on that site. You can read the forums or read the reviews. You will see the same biasness repeatedly demonstrated.

Read the post in the Blu-Ray forums asking if the site is becoming slanted to HD-DVD. The HD-DVD people jumped on the thread and the moderators allowed it to happen without doing a thing.

Here's my experience while there:
I thanked someone for a response as it showed he was trolling in the smackdown forum. The person responded to me by admitting to it and was getting a Blu-Ray drive once the prices came down. The next day a moderator removed my response to him and issued me a warning.

I was a head moderator at IGN and did not do anything that warranted that PM to me. The "moderator" there said it was my one-time warning and if I do it again I would be banned. I asked that he cancel my account. I will never go there for any reason.
