Default Which TV Show?

Which TV show is one of your favorites that you think everyone else should watch?

I would say THE PRISONER. It was made in the 60's and is about a British Secret Agent who abrubtly quits his job. He is gassed and wakes up a prisoner in a small village surrounded by water and patroled by large balloon looking security drones called Rovers. The main character is played by Patrick McGoohan, who most people would recognize as the evil King from Braveheart. His character name is only ever know as Number 6, which was assigned to him by his captors. Everyone on the island is named by number, including the mysterious leader Number 2 who is trying to get information from 6. Almost all epsiodes feature a new Number 2. There is only one season of the show. My handle on this site is a reference to this show and the previous show McGoohan was on called Secret Agent (Danger Man) where he played a British secret agent John Drake(I think). McGoohan insists number 6 is not John Drake, though most people assume it probably is.

What is your show you think everyone should see?

Not my favorite..... ( I loved Sopranos, and I love Curb Your Enthusiasm **but not Seinfeld***) I'd have to say, there was a show WAY ahead of it's time that got cancelled, but I loved it.

Jay Mohr (sp?) starred in it, and it was on Fox. It was called "Action" Jay played "Peter Dragon" a movie producer..... I thought the show was hysterical, and edgy. They recently released the entire series (it's like two disks ) on standard DVD, and I picked it up..... just as funny as I remembered.

The Critic with Jon Lovitz was another favorite of mine if you like Animated t.v. shows.

LOST is the most addictive show ever. I watch it, while recording it. I watch the enhanced episodes the following week. I re-watch it later in the season when the pieces begin to fit together. I buy it on (DVD before) Blu-ray (now) when it becomes available, and swap theories with fiancée and online. I'm SO hooked.

Arrested Development was great. Everyone who didn't watch it on TV sucks hard.

Now you've got Iron Maiden stuck in my head! Thanks!

I agree with most peoples comments on Firefly, very well done show that didn't get it's dues. My recomendation though is Life, it's a crime drama about a police officer that was wrongly imprisioned for murder. He ends up being released getting a huge cash settlement and a buddhist outlook on life. He tries to track down what really happened in the murder by himself. Very well done, and it's kept me entertained. It also looks like it will be revived next year and survived the strike!
