Microsoft still doesn't have a JPN presence, but that's due to a lot of factors. We're talking about a country that has policy in place that won't even let some half-Korean born people be citizens of the state. I guess when they kidnapped the Korean women for "Comfort Women," they decided their kids wouldn't be good enough to Japanese either.

The EU presence is getting better due to huge price drops, but I find that EUs love Gran Turismo and the Wii. If you also look at their video game sale numbers, they buy some of the worst games and they definitely pay more money for them in comparison to the U.S. So much for EU sophistication.

The 360 beat out the PS3 by about 5k units last month. It's going to be a full-scale battle this Christmas with Gears of War 2 coming out for the 360, along with some other titles.

Yeah, it's the slow time of year. You'll start hearing for all three companies in the next few months.

GTA is kicking off a pretty strong summer line up of games for all the systems.

Im sorry to tell you guys but the 360 and wii are the gaming platforms, i consider my playstation a blu ray player and have never gotten games for it. Drakes fortune is probably the only thing i would get or MGS but i have no real desire to.

Thats nice. Its too bad that when your 360 RROD's, you wont have the PS3 to play since its not a "gaming" system. I have all 3, the 360 has lost its edge, PS3 gaming is quite good and will overtake the 360 this year as the gamers choice.

Same here I use my PS3 strictly for Blu-ray movies. My 360 on the other hand is for Halo 3.

I have all 3 -- they all have their positives. That's all I'm going to say. If you truly love games, there's good to be had in all of them.

Now, excuse me, I have to buy Mario Kart...

My best friend's 360 got hit again also. 3rd time for him. I convinced him to get a PS3 last weekend, mostly for Blu, but I think he'll find plenty of gaming action he'll enjoy.

That said, I've had loads of fun playing games on his 360, but I just have more fun with my experiences on the PS3.

I really wish the Wii had opted to go truly next gen with HD graphics and a hard drive. I'd probably have been all over that.

I love my Wii, simply because it's a fun party machine. The kids love it - the games are fun (at least my first-party titles are). It's a great machine to have when you have a lot of people playing at the same time.

And the Virtual Console aspect of it rocks.

My roommate bought a day 1 elite. My brother has a day 1 360. It's a combination of getting lucky and actually taking care of our sutff. Neither person stands it upright, meaning that the fans are able to work, and they're in smoke-free homes with plenty of space.

Funny how the PS3 is supposed to be the roleplaying system, but it has no roleplaying games. Every FPS is a disappointment on the PS3 compared to the 360. No Bioshock, no GoW, and I'd just play Orange Box/COD4 on my PC because you can at least meet up with non-dogcrap people via PC to play with.

Until MGS4 comes out, my PS3 strictly plays blu rays. I hope your friend doesn't want to play FPS or RPGs.

So what does that make Oblivion?

He takes care of his machine, he doesn't keep it upright and he lives in a smoke free home. So I guess it's just 'luck'. That or the 360 is not the greatest piece of hardware from a consumer standpoint.

And no, he hates RPG's. But there are plenty of FPS games available, but that's neither here nor there. Somebody mentioned they had a friend who's 360 crapped out again, and I shared my story about how my friend has had it happen 3 times now, which is pretty ridiculous.

You really count Oblivion? It's best on the PC, and it's also a 360 game.

Simply mentioning the name shows how bad you're reaching.

Enchanted Arms... (haha) and have you played Folklore? It's a customizable button masher. It's a step up from Dynasty Warriors, which is not a description I'd use to explain any real RPG.

Agreed, a friend across the room brought over Halo 3 and put it on my TV. It was a disappointment. It didn't even use up all of my screen for head 2 head. I see no reason why the game is that popular, that's just my opinion. I've never been interested in the 360 at all, and I'm glad. My luck I would have gotten one of those that crapped out on me. For me it was the PS3 or nothing. I like the variety of games out, that and the backwards compatability that comes on the 60's and 80's.
