Default story wise, what are your favorite movies currently released on Blu-ray

there's been a lot of discussion regarding the best video quality and audio quality releases. but i've yet to find a discussion as to what the best movie currently released is. I mean THE BEST movie. one that when you watch it for the 20th time you just want to start it over and watch it again. theres a few for me.

the departed: my all time favorite movie. when I saw it in the theater I couldn't control my emotions. the movie controlled me. that's what amazes me about a movie like that. it takes hold of you.

POTC1: I always laugh my ass off when captain jack rides the mast of his sinking boat up to the dock. never gets old.

identity: good story, great actors all around. guy with twitchy eyes. tons of rain. what more does a movie need?

Oh man...for me my top 5 are: The Departed, Casino Royale, Rocky Balboa, Black Snake Moan, and Superman Returns. Rocky Balboa most of all, I love that movie so much and I love the Rocky character so much. It's just an all around great movie and companion piece to the original.

The Prestige was a good story and movie.
The Lives of Others was a good film. (More than just a story.)

I love Stranger Than Fiction. The Prestige is really a good movie, but a master stroke of direction by Christopher Nolan.

I will have to add happy feet to the list of my favorites. i've watched that thing about a dozen times. for some reason the semi racist casting of robin williams to play a short mexican sounding penguin is hilarious.

Did you watch Infernal Affairs which the Departed is based on? It is also on blu-ray but you may have to import it.

But as far as what is currently released for me:

Old Boy
Goodfellas
Full Metal Jacket
Babel
Clockwork Orange

Fantastic Four: ROTSS
Casino Royale
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

(The last two were double dips that I would never regret. I'd buy the first FF movie in Blu as a double dip if it were the extended cut version.)
