Be honest. Do you ever miss the HD DVD Trolls and FUDmeisters that used to infultrate our site under the guise of a newbie? Ask a plethora of "newbie" questions, ("I don't see Transformers for sale on bull-ray? WTF?!!!) and then flame us on...?

(To Newbs and HD DVD users - please take no offense. There was at one time, a certain dynamic going on here at this site where the truth about our format had to be defended against public lies from HD DVD fanbouys, Various Websites, Toshiba, Microsoft and even Universal. With it came a certain amount of pride and duty by members here to be sentries for the truth regarding our HD format.)

Do you ever miss some of those aspects of the HDM "War"?

No. I don't miss it. I ended up coming here as the other HD forums I was part of got so full or crap and fighting and HDDVD zealots that were so obviously in denial, I got sick of hearing it.

It was a breath of fresh air coming here, honestly.

On the other hand, I think they're still here. The questions, comments, etc. have just changed a little.

sure I miss it. It sortof gave me a sense of purpose to coming here.
it was like "ahhh another day, another few people to set on the right path." I now just wait in anticipation for movie announcements and games. And of course to pass the time at work.

I am glad i don't see many HD DVD fanboy attacks here any more. They were always so embarrasing for us "purples".

For your daily fix of continued blu vs. red fighting, visit HDD or HDF. LOL

Sort of... Some of them were amusing. Their attacks fostered a sort of community spirit amongst the deep blu contingent. I imagine now they are sulking with lit candles before their A35s etc...

A good portion of the trolls and gimmicks never left- but they're pro Blu/PS3 so they have a home here.
