why is shooter on blu-ray hard to find? - Blu-ray Forum

i been every were, BEST BUY, CIRCUIT CITY, AND MANY MORE PLACE AND I STILL CANT FIND SHOOTER ON BLU RAY. ANY BODY KNOW WHY IT MAY BE?

Are you aware this is a OOP (out of print) Paramount title? If you have a Borders, Fye's, or Suncoast in your area you should try there but be prepared to pay their ridiculous prices.

Because the title came out in Blu on July 31st of 2007 and shortly thereafter Paramount went strictly to HD-DVD. We only had a small window of opportunity to buy this title.

I took a day off work and drove over 50 miles to ensure I got this title on the day it was released. Shooter came out in standard DVD in June I believe and didn't come out in Blu for another 6 weeks or so.

Well worth it. I love this movie: great action, plot, PQ, and audio.

If you haven't yet, try Moviestop and FYE if you have them. With both stores I've seen Trading Places, World Trade Center, Norbit, and there's a few more.

You know I've always asked myself when this situation come up. What happened to all the extra copies? If they still have them then why not throw them out there to retail stores for the time being.

I tried like crazy to find this movie. I also wasn't about to pay the outrageous prices thay have it listed for on eBay or Amazon. Some joker was selling it for $100.

I stopped by Moviestop a couple of weeks ago and they had a brand new copy. Needless to say I was happy.
