I saw this several years ago and really enjoyed it. Even though the real life Birdman was not exactly the born-again saint depicted in the film.

This might be Burt Lancaster's best role. A very entertaining movie. Maybe someone will grab it and run with it.. i.e. Criterion or Twilight Time.
