Default Brand new player with no movies...help

I love action movies. I'm a fan of Die Hard, Bond, Spiderman, Pirates, and the like. I wonder if anyone has an opinion of whether I should buy the blu-ray version of any of these movies since I have seen them all several times...If yes, which do you think is the best...should I start with these of something else of the same type.

Thanks.

start with something you know you will enjoy. just get what you like best. then blind buy later. blind buys can lead to disappointment. i have all you listed and the best ones are live free die hard and potc

All the ones you listed are definite upgrades compared to the DVDs.

Casino Royale and all 3 Pirates are great choices.

Like the person above me, I had the Die Hard movies on VHS when I was a little kid and never got them on DVD. So the upgrade was huge.

So would you recommend the Die Hard collection, or would I be better off just getting the lastest one? I will get potc for sure.

Thanks Krazeyeyez, I'll probably go ahead and get the collection since I haven't seen them in a while anyway.

300 and Kingdom of Heaven were my first two. Both are recommended.

I must admit this totally sucks. While there is no need to give away five free movies at this time (I didn't get 5 free, either) I at least got Blackhawk Down in the box when I bought my first player. That was a fine example of HD video and audio. I think it is still early and uncertain enough to include a freebie in the box with new BD players.
