The one drawback I find to importing movie to the PS3 hard drive. Looks like the note icon should display cover art..

Yeah it can display cover art as a small .jpeg. I'm not exactly sure of how to do it on the PS3, but I did it on my PSP and when I imported the mp3s/atrac files to my PS3 it was able to display them.

On .mp4 video files, the PS3 is able to create a 15 second animated .gif thumbnail for each file as well.
